Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are essential for providing a competitive advantage by protecting creations such as inventions, designs, software, and brand names. The IPR Cell at our institution is dedicated to encouraging, protecting, managing, and commercializing these intellectual properties. It fosters an environment that promotes innovation and intellectual growth.
Our primary goal is to educate students and faculty about IPR, helping them understand the importance of safeguarding their work from plagiarism and disputes over credit. By training researchers and scholars in using patents and copyrights, we aim to unlock the economic potential of their ideas. This knowledge not only assists in starting new ventures but also enhances the market value of their business models and ideas.
In both our D.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy programs, students undertake significant projects that often get published in respected journals, contributing to the broader scientific community.
